Away

At any age, we have the choice to improve, to change, and to grow.
It all begins with knowing what you truly want.

Hi, I'm Anna-Maya and glad you stopped by!

Knowing what you want, the mind is where every journey begins.
It shapes how we see the world, how we respond to life,
and how we choose our next step.

I know it sounds easy, yet it requires intention.
And intention grows one choice at a time.

I can say that with ease now, but there was a time when I felt lost and unsure.
What I learned is that not knowing is often the beginning of something new.

The Power of Intent and how to make it work

You don’t have to accept what you’ve been told—over and over—about the limits of being human…
or even about your own limits.

When you begin to change your intent, your words, your thoughts, and your emotions, something shifts.
You start to rediscover your natural ability to attract what truly matters to you.

I know this may sound simple.
And I also know—it isn’t.

It took me time to trust the process.
Time to practice.
Time to believe that clarity and intention truly matter.

And yet, when I did, the results spoke for themselves.

My husband, our home, our friendships, our lifestyle—and so much more—came from consciously changing my words and mindset, my habits, and my wellness, in every way.

Not overnight.
But step by step.

Are you ready to give it a chance?

An Australian hospice nurse, Bronnie Ware, spent years listening to the regrets of people at the end of their lives.
She eventually gathered these reflections in her internationally bestselling book, The Top Five Regrets of the Dying.

After hearing hundreds of stories, one regret stood out above all others.

And the number one regret was simply this:

“I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”

The Power of  Habits

This part is about habits that are small actions and behaviors that produce long term results. Some are good for us and some are not so good for us. For example brushing our teeth. Brushing our teeth after meals dentists say is a good habit and would you agree keeps our breath fresh. That is a good habit with a long term effect and our teeth need less dental work. Well the results of the opposite, not brushing our teeth on a regular basis is obvious.

Brushing our teeth is a very obvious habit taught early age. Yet what about all the other habits we are not automatically conscious of that are mind or emotions based. Science tells us that our body has an amazing and complex memory system that automatically kicks in to keep us on track. Keeping us on track with habits that support us can be good. Habits that keep telling us we can't can be bad.

Habits — small choices, lasting results

Habits are small choices with long-term effects.
Some support us. Some don’t.

Take something simple like brushing our teeth.
Dentists tell us it’s a good habit—and we would all agree it keeps our breath fresh and our teeth healthy. Over time, this small daily action often means fewer dental problems.

The results of the opposite—not brushing our teeth regularly—are easy to see.

Brushing our teeth is an obvious habit, taught early in life.
But what about all the other habits we aren’t automatically conscious of—especially those based in our mind and emotions?

Science shows us that the body has an amazing and complex memory system that works automatically to keep us on track.
Habits that support us can help us grow, feel confident, and move forward.
Habits that quietly repeat “I can’t” can limit us without us even realizing it.

The Power of a natural Lifestyle

Adding a few natural suggestions to your lifestyle may do wonders.

My mother was an intensive care nurse and she saw much suffering. She decided to do whatever she learned from her mother and Swiss culture to keep us well. She had a big garden and I had many chores all summer long. It took me years to appreciate her efforts that gave my body a healthier start.

One of my childhood memories is the bottles containing lovely smells my mother would pick up at the pharmacy. Our family doctor prescribed them for all kinds of needs and later studying chemistry/biochemistry I learned to appreciate them.

Arriving in America in 1979, I was missing some of the things I took for granted while living in Switzerland like those lovely smells. There was aromatherapy available here in America yet not the potent essential oils I learned to love. Then in 1989 I met a man, Gary Young, who was traveling the world to learn how to grow and distill oils like in Europe.  He found information at universities about them that were so inspiring to him.

With his help I started to share about the oils here in America and the products he developed with the oils. My life has never been better since I found my purpose. How about you? Curious?
